We don’t have any exciting getaway plans until the Summer, but I’m sure many of you out there have spring break or other amazing plans that will involve being in a swim suit. I love picking out suits for my kids. Maybe it’s because the kid’s choices are so super cute, or maybe it’s because I don’t love swim suit shopping for myself. If you shop for suits early, you can always find a good sale. I also usually put a swim suit in Easter baskets, so I’m definitely in the market now. Today I’m sharing this year’s swim suit picks for my almost 4 year old girl (in girl’s sizing) and my almost 2 year old boy (in toddler boy sizing), as well as some matching options if you are obsessed with matching your kids like me. Simply click on the pictures to shop.
Nordstrom Picks
I’m loving the rainbow trend this year for Ella, as well as the skirted heart suit. We had one of these one piece zip up styles for Cole last year and it was so convenient and easy. I like to have mostly rash guard options for Cole since he is so pale skinned, but I also like to have at least one rash guard for Ella in case she’s needing extra protection from the sun.
Target + Gap Picks
More rainbow options for Ella and a super cute tie dye one piece that I definitely need to snag. (And also find a matching option for myself!) If you have a Frozen obsessed girl like Ella, we have this two piece rash guard set and it’s great for colder pool days or swim lessons. We also have this navy rash guard for Cole from Target – great to mix and match with any bottoms.
Small Shop Picks
Swim Zip isn’t necessarily a small shop, but we found it for the first time this year and I ordered this one piece for Ella and these trunks for Cole in a matching navy stripe pattern. These ones are adorable and will be going in their Easter baskets.

Our very favorite small shop for gorgeous floral print suits in the cutest designs is Sweet Honey Clothing. You have to snag these suits right at drop time, but the dreamy prints can’t be beat. We have this one stashed away so far.

I also will be ordering this sweet suit from The Daydream Republic to try out this year! I eyed it all last year and think it’s such a sweet, different design.

Bonus – Mom Suits!
Ok, ok… I do have a few favorite retailers for mom suits I’ll share. Kortni Jeane is one of the best swimsuit retailers for kids and adults alike. All of the styles, especially the bottoms, are so comfortable and flattering. They also have maternity options!
I purchased this suit from Aerie this year and it’s a love! Stylish, yet comfortable and flattering, with a great amount of coverage. I feel like a mom in this suit, but also a sexy wife which is basically the best of both worlds. They also have “tall” sizing which is amazing for me since I can rarely find one pieces that fit correctly. I may just go back and snag a solid color as well!
And now, bring on the sun, water, and SUMMER!!!
